One of the largest employers in Canada, this company with over 75 years doing business in a very fierce competitive environment has grown tremendously through mergers and acquisitions.
Store level retail managers, faced with operational pressure to perform on the floor as well having to maintain email communication with corporate, while training and supervising undertrained low wage employees in a war for talent. Feeling overwhelmed and lacking time to get everything done created a very strong need for Efficiency within their current reality.
To complement the company’s internal Leadership program, we built a companion course on Management Efficiency delivered to retail managers. By teaching modern principles of efficiency, adapted to their context, we transformed the Manager’s ability to cope with the reactivity than comes with their role. This success led to a series of courses that bridged that efficiency with effective use of communication and collaborative tools. We have trained hundreds of employees on this content.
The training has been integrated into their in-house Leadership program since 2016.
